Nice compact design and easy to flip the LED panel to change the light direction (in ceiling direction for example). Regarding the needed power, as you can see on the picture, the device draws 1.37A from a 5 volts power supply (or from a USB charger). At 5.2 volts, it draws 1.5 amp and the LED's are just a little bit brighter. It also works well under 5 volts (producing less light of course!!) but at 3.0 volts only, you can still get a decent amount of dimmed light which might be very interresting for battery operation.

Loneman So,at 5.2 volts x 1.5 amp it's 7.1 watts, hardly the 18w that BG claim. Thanks for the info.
